We are delighted to announce the registration of 28 new beds increasing our capacity to 98 beds with effect from 30.06.11. We will open these beds over the next few weeks in response to serious demand from the community and acute section.
Both houses share a common Kitchen which opens on to their individual Dining & Sitting rooms. Completed in March 2011 these Houses are very popular with people living in Castleross and their families. Teresa McKenna & Pauline McNally are homemakers with Annamarie Gartlan continuing her role as Household Coordinator. Janice Smith has recently been appointed as Clinical Coordinator.
Broomfield house caters for 14 people with Donaghmoyne House catering for 15 people.




Lisdoonan House has added four more bedrooms with ancillary bathrooms etc. Mary Byrne & Anne McCooey are Homemakers, Geraldine Lynch is Lisdoonan's Household Coordinator. Noelle McEnaney has recently been appointed as Clinical Coordinator .

Woodland's opened in August 2010. With the recent addition of Goldfish and Doves as well as Kylie the dog, Woodlands is a haven for peace and serenity. Sheila Finnegan & Mary Burns are homemakers with Tony Martin continuing as Household Coordinator. Patricia Farrell has recently been appointed Clinical Coordinator for Woodlands House.


Creevy & Farney are our newest houses. Creevy caters for 13 people and Farney caters for 15 people. Both houses share a common kitchen with sperate Dining & Sitting rooms for each house. Michelle McGlyn is the new Clinical coordinator with other appointments to follow. We are currently waiting for registration from HIQA and will announce when these new beds are available for occupation.
